The Central
Virginia British Car Club was formed in June 1984 by a group of
local MG owners. Since that first year, membership has grown to
over a hundred families, and the club has expanded to include
enthusiasts of all makes of British automobiles and motorcycles.
Volunteers of the Central Virginia British Car Club host several
technical sessions each year to keep the membership current on
the latest information relating to the maintenance,
preservation, and restoration of the classic British vehicle.
The club also publishes a monthly newsletter, and maintains a
comprehensive website to provide information about club and
other related news.
Activities include monthly get-togethers, summer drives, weekend
trips, road rallies, pool parties, a chili cook-off and other
family oriented events to maximize the enjoyment of your British
motorcar.
Our club is also proud to host the annual Classics on the Green
British and European Automobile Festival at New Kent Vineyards.
This event has grown to become the largest and finest event of
its kind in Virginia. Resulting from the show’s success, we are
a proud supporter of the Richmond Fisher House, making life
easier for the families of veterans receiving care at the
Richmond Veterans Administration Medical Center.
The Central Virginia British Car Club invites you to join and
take advantage of the many opportunities we have to offer.
